CREAMY OVERNIGHT OATS

The creeeeeaaaaaamiest oatmeal ever!

Rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants, oats are an easy way to start your day with a hit of nutrition, and soaking your oats overnight leaves them all soft and fluffy, and ready to enjoy right away, which is great if you are low on time (or low on hands once baby takes up that arm space!). The results are incredible, and worth that extra prep if you have the time for it. It’s kind of like a gift to your sleepy morning self, from your prepared evening self!

 Ingredients

1 cup of Rolled Oats
1 cup of Almond Milk or milk of your choice
1 cup of Water

Toppings of choice – here are some we love:

Berries
Honey
Cinnamon
Poached Pear
Stewed Apple
Granola

Method

In a container, combine 1 cup of rolled oats with 1 cup of almond milk. Stir until mixed through, then leave, covered, in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 1 hour.

When you are ready to eat your porridge, tip the oat mixture into a saucepan. Add 1 cup of water, and heat while stirring until the oats have absorbed the water and become creamy.

Serve with your favourite toppings.
